Today is the 14th of February and it is Valentine’s Day.  We usually have a party but this year we didn’t.  I don’t know why we didn’t have a party this year but it might be because we are getting to old for it.  Some people still handed out Valentines though, but only the girls.  I never handed out Valentines because I didn’t know if we were allowed to or not.  Last Friday there was a Valentine’s dance that I didn’t get to go to because I had to go to Flin Flon for a hockey tournament.  Other than not doing anything in school today I got “War of the Worlds as a Valentine’s gift and some skins for my iPod Video.

Today I am leaving school early so I can go to Flin Flon for a hockey tournament.  My first game is at 4:30 p.m. We are going against Flin Flon. We have never lost against them yet this year, but we have tied them two times in a row. We tied them 5-5 with 6 seconds left both times. I scored both of those goals to tie the game.  Then on Saturday we are playing against OCN, which are considered an “A” team and it won’t be a very hard game. They will be out to get us though because there is a big rivalry between The Pas and OCN.  Then I believe that after that we are playing against Thompson.  We have only lost against them once because we were told to hold back so we didn’t get hurt or get kicked out.  Well I hope we win this weekend and I got to go.
