i am canadian

Just recently (this weekend), I got new skates because my old ones were way too small for me.  My old ones were size 4 and my new ones are size 5 and a half.  So I went up almost two sizes in about a year.  So that’s pretty good for me because I am short and I don’t grow very much.  My new skates are just the better version of my older skates.  I used to have the Nike Flexlite 10’s and now I have the Nike Flexlite 12’s.  The 12’s are lighter, more comfortable and they have more protection.  So I should be skating faster and I should be able to block more shots.  Now I am ready for another year of Hockey!

As you know, I went to Brandon to play hockey against three hockey teams. The first game we won by a score of 8-3. Then we went up against an even harder team…jsut kidding! We won against these guys with a score of 13-0. Isn’t that sweet?! Then the next day we went up against our arch rivals, the Manitoba Ice Dogs. We haven’t beaten them for such a long time it isn’t even funny. But this time our luck changed and we won 6-4. It was the best game out of all of them. It was fast paced and there was lots of scoring for both teams.

In about two weeks I am going to Winnipeg for a AAA tournament. I will update my blog on the results that weekend.
