Blog Posts of the Year

June 19, 2006

My two blog posts of the year are one about the burial of four whale carcasses in New Brunswick and a post about the Edmonton Oilers coming back from a 3-0 series and forcing a game seven.

These two posts are the best because in the one about the four whale carcasses I told a lot of good infromation about the incident in New Brunswick.  The reason why the Edmonton post is the best because I told about a very important time in Canadian history and I wrote a lot and gave a lot of detail.

These two posts show about how I am very interested in new incidents that are going on in the world and I love sports.  It shows that I have good spelling and grammar and that I can turn lame sentences from a news article into my own.

I have learned that you can talk to people and interact with people from other parts of the world in many different ways other than phoning them.  You can also use blogs as journals.  You also have to use proper language to get more comments.  I have given good information about interesting news and I have written and told people a little about me and school.

Poetry

June 14, 2006

This is the first time this year that we have actually done poetry.  I really don’t like poetry because it really confuses me.  But I think I am doing okay so far.  We are doing a chat book for all of the poems we have done for the last two weeks.  I am doing my poems about hockey, of course because I love hockey and that is all I play or do in my life.

Gotta Go!  BYE!
